Arguably the best 4×4 park in South East Qld

Located around 2 hours from Brisbane via Kilcoy, Landcruiser Mountain Park is a well known 4×4 park.

The Park should be regarded as a wilderness area in every sense.

Facilities are basic. Nearest major township is Kilcoy 60kms away so it is important to bring everything you will need, including sufficient fuel, first aid kit, axe, shovel and tow rope.  No Fuel, Gas Refills or Smokes available at the Park or Jimna Forestry.

Tracks range from Beginner to intermediate and then some. There are some big name climbs/tracks. Everyone knows of Camp Road, it’s a good feeling to walk away saying you’ve done Camp Road (and didn’t break anything!). Another well known track is Telstra Hill.

LCMP was sold at one stage there but that arrangement fell through and everyone was happy their beloved park

When it comes to camping options, Landcruiser Mountain Park offers bush camping at its best.

There are a few bush camp grounds around the park. You can camp wherever you like in the park. Unpowered sites only.

Hot showers and toilets available at Cowan Falls, Trekka tree, the Gums and Fig Tree Camping areas.

Plenty of 4WDing events are held here at LCMP so keep an eye out on their page for events.
